1.Q:Is a hub required to connect the downlight?
A:The WiFi version does not require a HUB connection. The Zigbee version requires the use of a Zigbee Gateway connection.
2.Q:Does it work with Google Home?
A:Yes,it is also compatible with Alexa / Yandex Alice /smartthins;
3.Q:If the light has been powered off by the wall switch,will it retain its settings when power back on?
A:Yes,the light will keep the setting as before for the memory function.
4.Q:Can this be used manually(without wifi) with a dimmer switch?
A:Yes,When there is no Internet connection, the APP(eWelink) can control the light bulb through the bluetooth signal.
